Crowdfunding Comes Of AgePosted on Jul 23, 2013 by Sandy Finlayson  |Last week saw the listing on AIM of Frontier Developments plc, a Cambridge based games developer which was originally established in 1994. In January this year, the Company was financed through Kickstarter. With a fund raising target of $2 million, (the biggest ever on Kickstarter), they managed to raise a total of £1,578,316 from 25,681 investors. The interesting point to note is that this is the first UK-based crowdfunded company to come to the stock market.
