MBM Commercial are delighted to announce the appointment of Sean Keaveney and Hannah Alphey, both specialists in Intellectual Property.
Sean joins the firm as an Associate. His clients include technology companies, software companies, media companies, manufacturing companies, e.tailers and academic institutions.
Sean has previously worked as an in-house solicitor with STV Group plc. Prior to his legal career Sean worked as an assistant scientist for an international chemical company.
Sean is ranked in Chambers & Partners UK as an "Associate to Watch" in the fields of Intellectual Property and Media & Entertainment. The current edition states: "Associate Sean Keaveney continues to impress" under Intellectual Property and "Responsive, efficient and highly receptive associate Sean Keaveney" under Media & Entertainment.
Hannah joins the firm as an Intellectual Property Consultant. She has worked as a commercial and intellectual property lawyer both in private practice and in-house as European Legal Counsel for EA Games in London. She now acts as an intellectual property/legal consultant, providing advice on all aspects of intellectual property and IP management to clients.
Her clients have included technology companies, games developers, pharmaceutical companies, entrepreneurs and a range of start-ups.
Hannah has a first class degree in Scots Law, is a member of the Licensing Executive Society, has presented at a number of events on various aspects of intellectual property and licensing including the recent "Digital Spark - IP in the Digital Creative Industries" conference and has written articles on intellectual property management for the Intellectual Property Office and European IPR Bulletin.
