MBM Commercial recently assisted Blockchain Technology Partners (“BTP”) as part of a £2m fundraise from Force Over Mass and Signature Ventures.
Blockchain technology has many potential business applications including smart contracts and distributed ledgers. The funding will allow BTP to expand the use of blockchain technology in business solutions using their leading offering, Sextant, which allows organizations to deploy a blockchain infrastructure easily and efficiently.
“We benefited from the support and advice of the MBM Commercial team throughout this transaction,” said Duncan Johnston-Watt, Co-Founder and CEO of BTP. “They worked diligently on our behalf to ensure that the process was completed in a timely fashion to the satisfaction of all parties. This investment will allow us to continue to expand our global presence and our goal to accelerate the adoption of blockchain technology.”
BTP is headquartered in Edinburgh, and has employees across the globe in Barcelona, London, New York and San Francisco.
As Stuart Hendry, Senior Partner noted “Duncan and his team have worked very hard to develop their blockchain offerings and we wish them continued success”.
