Tourism doesn’t have to be fast-paced, crowded and environmentally irresponsible. That’s the premise of Slow Adventure Ltd, who recently worked with Alexander Lamley and Morgan Landels of MBM’s Corporate team on its initial seed funding. The firm aims to provide clients with high-quality, ethical and immersive experiences in nature.
MD and co founder, Sara Mair Bellshaw said “Tourists are demanding unique, small-scale responsible experiences and connections with local people who share similar values. They also want to give back to local conservation run in the community visited, which is a key part of how Slow Adventure Ltd works.”
The company will be launching adventures in Northern European countries rolling out to other destinations in Europe and beyond. As the travel industry reopens post-Covid, Slow Adventure will use the funding for start-up costs and working capital.
“Alexander was brilliant: creative, responsive and agile. He gave very clear advice and it was great to work with him and his team”, said Jane Stuart-Smith, Co-Founder.
“As a keen adventurer myself, it’s been a pleasure working with the Slow Adventures team,” said Alexander Lamely. “I wish them much success for the next stage in their business journey.”
