MBM Commercial is a market leading provider of legal and commercial services to investors, entrepreneurs and high growth companies across the UK and beyond.  We are an innovative and growing business and looking for a special type of corporate lawyer to help implement our exciting plans for developing the London office.

You will be the fifth recruit in the London office and will have the chance to help build the London practice.  For that reason, this is a rare opportunity to have some real input into the growth and shape of the practice.  Few jobs offer that.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional training, preferably from a US or City firm, and be technically excellent with a keen attitude and willingness to work on a wide range of matters.  You will be involved in providing corporate advice to high growth businesses and investors.  The role will bring an interesting and challenging workload, including acquisitions and disposals, equity investments, spin-out and start-up advice, shareholder agreements, corporate restructuring and investment funds.  You will be working closely with a key, ex-City partner, who is very well-known in the industry.

You will have the opportunity to build relationships with clients and contacts and develop your network.  Our solicitors are a key part of the firm’s business development activities and are encouraged to take ownership of opportunities and run with them.   

We are looking for someone with a positive ‘can do’ attitude and excellent communication skills.  You must be able to build long term relationships with clients and colleagues and be fully committed to developing yourself and providing the very best legal advice.   Our culture is fast-paced and entrepreneurial and we place great importance on having a work/life balance.
