Morgan is an Associate in our Employment and HR team. Morgan trained at MBM and completed his traineeship at the firm in 2021. Morgan is a Scottish qualified solicitor and graduated with honours from the University of Edinburgh.
Morgan’s role is to deliver employment law and HR advice to our clients. He acts mainly for small and medium sized businesses, with varying levels of employees, and works closely with our corporate team to advise on various aspects of employment law. He also helps senior employees/executives exit successfully from businesses.
Morgan is a key member of our Holistic HR team and enjoys working closely with Holistic clients by providing unlimited employment law advice and assisting with any HR related issue that arises from having staff.
Morgan has experience with a variety of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters including unfair dismissal claims, discrimination, harassment, whistleblowing, settlement agreements, employment contracts, consultancy agreeements, staff handbooks and policies.
Morgan also has significant corporate experience from his time in our corporate department, and is aware of the potential crossover points between corporate and employment law.
Morgan earned his law degree and Diploma in Professional Legal Practice from the University of Edinburgh in 2014-19. Throughout his time at university, Morgan played for and captained the University of Edinburgh’s Law Society football team. Before attending university, he played football at a high level.
In his spare time, Morgan enjoys attempting to still play football, going to the gym and binge-watching TV series.
