Robert (Bob) Binning is a Scottish Commercial Property Consultant, based in our Edinburgh office.
Bob has wide ranging experience in a wide range of commercial property issues arising from leasing, investment, development, acquisitions, and disposals. He has been involevd in numerous purchase and sales of retail shopping centres, most recently in the acquisition and subsequent disposal of the Livingston Designer Outlet Centre. He is a trusted adviser to clients on property management and leasing matters. Bob acted for the purchaser in the first PRS Scheme in Scotland and also brings experience in cross border support in corporate and funding transactions.
Legal Experience
- Acquisition of Livingston Designer Outlet Centre for Mars Pension Trustees Limited (and subsequent disposal)
- Forward Funding of Scotland’s first major PRS Scheme for Crucible Residential Properties Limited
- Acquisition of Artizan Centre , Dumbarton and Westside Plaza Edinburgh for Mars Real Estate Investment BV.
- Agreement for development and lease of former BHS, Edinburgh on behalf of Coal Pension Properties Limited.
- Sale of Cumbernauld Town Centre, Phase IV for Coal Pension Trustees.
- Shopping Centre leasing in respect of a number of shopping centres. Management of Livingston was retained when Mars sold the Centre.
