Struan joined us in September 2022 based in our Edinburgh office. He is currently a member of our Property Team.
Struan graduated from The University of Strathclyde with a First Class Hons in Clinical LLB. The Clinical degree differs from the ordinary Scots Law degree in that it is more practical. Alongside the typical classes in Scots Law, Clinical students volunteer at the University of Strathclyde Law Clinic where they offer legal advice and representation. During Struan's five years at the law clinic, he advised and represented numerous clients in a range of different disputes.
Legal Experience
- Assisted with EHS business Evotix on its sale to US-based SAI360 through a competitive auction process
- Assisted with £10m investment into a client company by a US investor
- Assisting Kick ICT in connection with a £8.7m investment from BGF
- Assisted with the set-up of Imbiba’s £50m hospitality VC Fund
- Assisted with the set-up of Episode 1’s £60m Enterprise Capital “seed-to-series A” Fund
